We, the undersigned, on behalf of the Majority of Lesseeholders of Marine Lots at the Port of Victoria, beg respectfully to address Your Excellency with reference to the Government Notification No.56, in the Gazette of 11th November last, by which we perceive that the Government have in contemplation a project for the formation of a Playa, by filling in ground along the sea front of the Town from the Parade Ground to Possession Point, the estimated expense of which it is proposed shall be borne by the occupants of "Marine Lots".
